Local quiz fans are invited to put their heads together and join the library Teamific Global Quiz team.
The international trivia showdown will take place at both the Bundaberg and Gin Gin Libraries on Wednesday 19 November with bookings available from 5 November.
Bundaberg Regional Council’s Arts and Heritage spokesperson Councillor John Learmonth said the global competition was created to offer a little something for everyone.
“What’s great about the Teamific Global Quiz is that the questions are designed for people to have fun, not to catch anyone out,” Cr Learmonth said.
“Whether you’re a quiz expert or just looking for something social to do, you can join in the friendly competition.
“The event will take about an hour with 50 different questions to answer and while it’s free to attend, spaces are limited and for adults only.“
Cr Learmonth said the libraries were running the first session as a trial to gauge community interest.
“I would encourage anyone who is interested to book a spot and come along so we can decide whether to subscribe to the program and offer quizzes more regularly,” he said.
“This quiz is run in libraries and aged care organisations across the country and the world so it will be great to put the Bundaberg Region on the map and see where we land on the leaderboard!”
