  1. I pay my rates every month to avoid bill shock when they drop every 6 months.
What disappoints me, with what I think is a good method, is that the council does not issue receipts and does not have an online account facility so I can reconcile my payments with their records.
I have to collate all my payments when the rate notice is issued and make sure the credit showing on the rate notice statement is indeed correct.
It is quite an antiquated system in this day and age.
I whilst I am upon this soapbox, it seems quite unfair that my little patch of 612sqm in Norville should be levied with nearly $4000 per annum in council rates. This is very expensive by comparison to most other council areas in Australia.

  2. Yes, these above inquiries are ligit and I would like to see a council response on these!! Very sneaky increases on council receiving a better cut!!

  3. The restricted opening hours of your Recycle Depots is staggering.
Only 4 hours per week is insufficient for our growing population.
Rubbish will continue to be dumped along roadside and bushland.

ENCOURAGE residents to use your facilities.
