Bundaberg Regional Council has appointed LCB Civil Pty Ltd as Principal Contractor to undertake pavement rehabilitation works on McIlwraith Road.
As part of these works, there will be a road closure in place on Ellerays Road. The road closure location is as highlighted in red on the map below.
When will the road closure happen?
- Ellerays Road is expected to be closed from 6.30 am Monday 9 February 2026.
- All works are expected to be completed by 6 pm Friday 20 February 2026, when the road will be re-opened, weather permitting.
Traffic management
- Works will be undertaken under Traffic Control, with a full road closure in place. Detour signage will be in place to direct traffic around the work area.
- Traffic conditions may change, and delays may be experienced.
Property access and waste collection
Local access will be maintained, and residents will still be able to access their properties throughout the works.
Arrangements will be made by LCB Civil Pty Ltd to ensure waste collection services continue during the works.
