Winter pool closures across the Bundaberg region

As Council owned pools close for winter, residents are encouraged to visit the Bundaberg Aquatic Centre, which remains open all year round.

As winter approaches, Bundaberg Regional Council is advising residents of updated operating times for Council owned pools over the cooler months.

Gin Gin Swimming Pool

The Gin Gin pool will close for the winter season from 20 April 2026.

The pool is scheduled to re‑open for the start of the new swim season on 19 September 2026.

Isis War Memorial Swimming Pool

The Isis War Memorial pool will temporarily close to allow for essential maintenance works.

The facility will be closed from 1 June to 3 August 2026, helping ensure the pool is safe, well‑maintained and ready for the upcoming warmer months.

Norville Park Swimming Pool

Norville Park pool is expected to remain open into May, provided water temperatures remain favourable and there is sufficient community demand.

The confirmed winter closure date will be posted on the pool’s website once determined.

Following its winter closure, Norville Park pool will re‑open for the new swim season on 1 September 2026.

Bundaberg Aquatic Centre

The Bundaberg Aquatic Centre remains open all year round, offering heated indoor swimming, programs and activities for all ages.

Residents are encouraged to visit their website to explore their available facilities and services.
