John Massey was a resident of Booyal, near Childers, when he enlisted in the Australian Army in 1942 and he has recently been honoured in Bundaberg Regional Council’s Streets of Remembrance program.

Drewe Street was named after Flight Sergeant Arthur Douglas Drewe in July 1951 and it has now been included in Bundaberg Regional Council’s Streets of Remembrance program.
