
Are you an animal enthusiast keen to learn more about wildlife?
Come along to a free Keeper Talk at Alexander Park Zoo – one of Queensland’s oldest continuously operating zoos.
During the talks, you can watch the keepers feed the Cotton-top Tamarins and Spotted-tailed Quoll and chat with them about these fascinating animals.

Location: Alexander Park, 29 Quay Street, Bundaberg
Meeting point: Meet the keeper in front of the exhibits inside the barn
Time: 10.30 am – Cotton-top Tamarin talk, followed by Quoll talk
Days: Wednesday to Sunday (excluding school holidays)
Cost: Free
Bookings: Not required
Keep the learning going with a free activity booklet featuring 10 numeracy-based activities for children aged 0 to 5 years old.
Children can write, draw and colour their way through the zoo while practicing number recognition, writing, estimating and counting.
