Bundaberg Regional Council has multiple sites at the Bundaberg Regional Airport available for lease.
Located on Airport Drive in Kensington, the regional aviation hub is six kilometres southwest of the Bundaberg CBD and operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The airport hosts scheduled passenger services by QantasLink and Link Airlines, major national car hire businesses and aeromedical services such as the Royal Flying Doctor Service and LifeFlight.
It also supports the seasonal deployment of the Queensland Fire Department’s Large Air Tanker and other air resources.
Additional facilities include an aircraft maintenance facility, aviation fuel suppliers, private hangars and flying schools.
Bundaberg Regional Airport is a gateway to the Southern Great Barrier Reef, local sandy beaches and tourist attractions such as the Mon Repos turtle hatchery, Bundaberg Rum and Bundaberg Brewed Drinks.
This is an opportunity for aviation businesses and operators to secure space in a growing regional aviation hub supporting general aviation and aviation-related industries.
Available land includes three airside spaces for the construction of general aviation aircraft hangars.
In addition, two large sites on Aviation Crescent offer airside access for hangar development or other aviation businesses requiring direct access to the aircraft movement area.
A further site at Squadron Drive includes existing improvements such as an office, shed and car parking, making it suitable for a car rental operation or similar aviation support business.

Leases will be offered under Bundaberg Regional Council’s standard lease terms, with options of up to 10 years to be considered.
Longer options are available for the sites on Aviation Crescent.
Lease spaces are being leased in their entirety and Council is unable to consider request for part of lease areas.
