Spoil Mum this Mother’s Day with a delightful high tea in the elegant surrounds of historic Fairymead House.
Now in its sixth year, the much‑loved event returns on Saturday 9 May.
It continues to be one of Fairymead House’s most popular annual traditions, having sold out every year since it began in 2021.
Guests will be welcomed with a glass of bubbles on arrival before enjoying a selection of teas and treats in a charming setting overlooking the Bundaberg Botanic Gardens.
The afternoon will feature live entertainment by local acoustic singer Stella Hutchins and guests can take part in Mother’s Day bingo.
Bundaberg Regional Council’s Arts and Heritage portfolio spokesperson Councillor John Learmonth said Fairymead House remained an ideal venue to spoil Mum.
“Surrounded by the beautiful Botanic Gardens, mums will love the casual elegance of high tea on the Fairymead House verandah,” Cr Learmonth said.
“This annual event continues to be popular with mums of all ages and is a lovely opportunity for families to spend quality time together.”
Cr Learmonth said the addition of Mother’s Day bingo would bring an enjoyable and engaging atmosphere to the afternoon.
“It’s a fun way to share a laugh and enjoy some friendly competition with some great prizes to be won along the way.”
