
Local futsal teams, spectators and families are encouraged to get involved in the upcoming 2026 Bundaberg Multicultural World Cup, bringing the region together in a vibrant celebration of culture, community and connection.
The family-friendly event, coordinated by Bundaberg Regional Council, will be held on Saturday 11 July at Shalom Catholic College.
Football Queensland is also supporting the event, providing and funding referees, coordinating the futsal competition and delivering a free two hour Come and Try session.
Delivered as part of the Strengthening Multicultural Queensland funded project by the Queensland Government, the event will showcase a full day of friendly competition and cultural experiences.
The national initiative supports Local Governments to build more inclusive, engaged and participatory communities.
Futsal teams are required to register ahead of the event and confirm expected player numbers to meet minimum team requirements.
All players must sign in on the day and complete the participation waiver, with players under 18 to be signed in by a parent or guardian.
Teams are encouraged to register online before 8 July at 12 pm.
