Road closure – Wallaville Goondoon Road, Drinan – Road Rehabilitation and Widening Stage 2

Bundaberg Regional Council will be commencing stage 2 of the Road Rehabilitation and Widening along Wallaville Goondoon Road, Drinan as highlighted in yellow on the map above.

Work is planned to commence 14 September 2026 and will be undertaken weekdays as daytime works. Weather permitting, work will be completed by June 2027.

During construction the road will be subject to traffic management measures.

Appropriate signage will be in place to guide road users and a detour will be in place via Berrembea Road and Highams Road as highlighted in blue on the map above.

The detour will be maintained continually throughout the project.

The Site Supervisor will liaise directly with affected residents to facilitate property access during construction.

They will also discuss where to place your wheelie bin prior to the day of collection where these works conflict with your bin collection.

Bundaberg Regional Council is aware of the inconvenience construction work causes and thanks residents and road users in advance for their patience and co-operation.
