Local clubs, community groups and services are invited to a free grant writing workshop in Gin Gin.
Hosted by Bundaberg Regional Council, the workshop will take place on Thursday 24 September from 9 am to 11 am at the Gin Gin Neighbourhood Centre.
The two hour session is designed to help community groups feel more confident when applying for funding.
Attendees will learn how to spot the right Council grant for their project, understand what funders look for and write applications that clearly show community need.
The workshop also covers the SmartyGrants portal, mandatory documents and budgeting, giving groups practical skills they can use straight away.
Tea and coffee will be provided with a free community BBQ to follow the workshop.

The Gin Gin Grants Workshop is suited to local clubs, community groups, community services, not for profits and volunteer run groups of all sizes including unincorporated groups and local branches.
Workshop spaces are free with registration encouraged.
