Winfield, Avondale, Yandaran and parts of Meadowvale
Residents in Winfield, Avondale, Yandaran and parts of Meadowvale are advised that bin collection will be delayed until further notice due to road closures affecting Bundaberg Regional Council’s waste collection services.
Council’s waste collections team was unable to reach these areas on Monday 9 March due to water over the road caused by heavy rainfall.
Those impacted include households in Winfield, Watalgan, Yandaran, parts of Avondale, Invicta, Billabong Crescent in Apple Tree Creek and parts of Meadowvale which should have had both their waste and recycling bins collected today, Monday 9 March and also households in the Avondale township and Moorlands which had recycling bins only unable to be serviced.
Households in the Avondale township and Moorlands who had recycling bins due for collection today will also be unable to be serviced.
Due to further forecast rainfall Council is asking residents to leave their bins on the kerb for collection in the coming days.
All bins will be collected as soon as possible, pending the weather.
Council thanks the community for its patience and understanding while the issue is resolved.
