The mooring and waste disposal facilities sustained damage during the March 2026 flood event which means they cannot be accessed or operated safely at this time.
What this means:
- No public mooring is available within the Bundaberg town reach
- Boaters are encouraged to make alternative arrangements for mooring and waste management
Council is currently:
- Assessing the extent of damage
- Planning repair and reinstatement works
