Members of the Bundaberg Quilters Inc are supporting local community organisations through the raffle of a large, handmade quilt.

Bundaberg Region residents are being encouraged to nominate a person, community group or an event for the prestigious 2023 Australia Day Awards.

Phoenix House will soon host the You Are Not Alone picnic at Boreham Park, raising community awareness during Queensland Mental Health Week.

From the high seas and flooding suburbs to the Burnett River and out to Fraser Island, the search and rescue efforts of Volunteer Marine Rescue Bundaberg have spanned every inch of the region and beyond during the past 50 years.

There are a range of events and activities on offer across the region as part of Queensland Mental Health week, which runs from 8 – 16 October.

Put on your loudest shirt and make some noise as Quota Bundaberg hosts a Loud Shirt Lunch for children with hearing loss and their families.
