Local TAFE students who are completing their hospitality and tourism certificates will get to rub shoulders with celebrity chefs while gaining hands-on learning from local producers and businesses as part of this year's Taste Bundaberg Festival.

A vacant lot along Takalvan Street will soon be transformed into a two-storey motel after a development application was approved by Bundaberg Regional Council.

Set your alarms, tickets for the 2022 Taste Bundaberg Festival will go live at noon today with the 10-day program featuring fine dining events, picnics for two, a Banquet by the Beach, celebrity chef masterclasses and much more.
