
The Travelling Film Festival is back in 2025 and set to charm filmgoers at the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre.
From Cannes winners to homegrown hits, this year’s program takes place from 17 to 19 October and offers a rich tapestry of storytelling from around the world.
Local audiences are invited to experience a powerful and diverse collection of films that celebrated resilience, creativity and the human spirit in all its forms from.
Highlights include DJ Ahmet, a Sundance Audience Award-winner that follows a 15-year-old boy in North Macedonia who finds refuge in dance music and first love and The Ballad of Wallis Island, a celebration of British humour and musical charm.
Adventure lovers will enjoy The Raftsmen, a gripping documentary revisiting a perilous journey beset by storms, sharks and frayed nerves across the Pacific Ocean on three log rafts and The Blue Trail, following the journey of a remarkable grandmother who embarks on a trip down the Amazon River.
This year’s program celebrates bold voices, unforgettable characters and stories that stay with viewers long after the credits roll.
