The community has showered praise on artist Cara-Ann Simpson and her current exhibition, Furari Flores, now on display at the Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery.
After receiving a challenging health diagnosis, Cara-Ann drew inspiration from her experience to create a delightful exhibition celebrating the wonder of plants.
Her work brings together photography, textiles, sound, video and scent sculptures to form a multisensory experience for visitors.
The community responded warmly after hearing her story and viewing the exhibit in a recent BRC Now video:
- How beautiful, inspirational.
- Well done! A wonderful achievement.
- I am intrigued with how the smell of rain on the earth was captured… so so amazing!
- This is the coolest exhibition I have heard about in ages. I loved hearing it all explained here… so interesting.
