Bundaberg Regional Council is inviting the community to farewell 2025 and welcome the New Year with a spectacular evening at the newly redeveloped ANZAC Park.
The riverside venue will host a free celebration from 7 pm featuring food stalls, live and two fireworks displays including an 8 pm family-friendly show followed by the traditional midnight countdown spectacular.
Mayor Helen Blackburn said the event was an opportunity for families and friends to come together in Bundaberg’s newly reopened riverside park and share in the spirit of the season.
“With the reopening of ANZAC Park we now have a beautiful open space where the community can relax, spread out picnic blankets, set up chairs and enjoy an evening by the river,” Mayor Blackburn said.
“This celebration is about spending time with loved ones, welcoming the new year together and creating special memories in a place that belongs to us all.
“We are grateful to our sponsors whose support ensures this much-loved tradition can continue.”
