Explore the region and visit the Gin Gin Nature Park, a bushland reserve featuring a short walking track and timber viewing platform.
Located on the outskirts of Gin Gin, the park is accessible from the Bruce Highway, next to the BP Service Station onto Eliott Street.
The reserve contains large Eucalyptus trees, deep waterholes and a running creek, providing an important habitat for birds and other native wildlife.
Visitors may see several kinds of birds, including White-winged Chough, Scaly-breasted Lorikeet and King Parrots.
In the early morning or late afternoon, Eastern Grey Kangaroos can often be seen feeding in the grassy areas.
Please remain a respectful distance from them.
