Guests at the Mayor’s Ball will witness artistic masterpieces created before their eyes as live art entertainer Brad Blaze takes to the stage for Bundaberg’s most glamorous night.
Known for creating large-scale artworks live on stage in minutes, Brad has performed around the world but will be visiting the region for the first time to perform at the black-tie fundraising event at the Bundaberg Multiplex on Saturday 11 July.
Brad’s performance will combine live art, storytelling and audience interaction to create unique artworks that will be auctioned off throughout the night to raise money for the Mayor’s Christmas Appeal.
“I’ve never been to Bundaberg before so I can’t wait, it’s going to be awesome,” Brad said.
“I’ll be performing on stage doing my speed painting show where I paint paintings in the space of one song – so for three minutes I basically just go nuts on stage and it’s a lot of fun!”
Brad has worked as a full-time artist and entertainer for over 20 years with charity fundraising at the heart of what he does.
“I’ve done so many events for a lot of the big charities around Australia… I’ve now raised over $4 million for charity,” Brad said.
“I can’t wait to get on stage and the funds are going to help the local community [through] the Mayor’s Christmas Appeal.
“I can’t wait to bring my talents to Bundaberg!”
Silver Linings
The theme for the Mayor’s Ball this year is Silver Linings, celebrating hope and the power of collective kindness within the community.
Tickets are now available for the glamourous charity event, with funds raised going to the Mayor’s Christmas Appeal to support local families experiencing hardship during the festive season.
Additional fundraising activities on the night include live and silent auctions, raffles, mystery prize boxes and donation opportunities.
