Free workshop supports online booking skills

Council will host an online booking workshop to help residents feel more confident booking tickets for Council events and venues.

Bundaberg Library and Moncrieff Entertainment Centre will offer a free workshop designed to help community members confidently book tickets online.

Library staff will teach participants through how to secure tickets for Council venues and events across the Bundaberg Region including:

  • Moncrieff Entertainment Centre
  • Bundaberg Regional Galleries
  • Childers Festival
  • Taste Bundaberg Festival
  • and more.

The session is designed for residents who may be less familiar with online booking systems and aims to make accessing local arts, culture and festival experiences easier for everyone.

Mayor Helen Blackburn said the workshop was an important step in improving accessibility and digital confidence across the community.

“We know there are many people, some who may be new to technology or aren’t using it frequently, who will appreciate simple and supportive opportunities to build their digital skills,” Mayor Blackburn said.

“This workshop helps remove barriers to participation and ensures people feel confident navigating online booking systems.

“It’s important that everyone in our community can easily access the events and experiences Council delivers,” she said.

Interested residents are encouraged to call the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre on 4130 4100 to book. Limited spots available.
