Following a routine inspection, safety and structural issues have been identified with the combination play equipment at Moore Park Lions Park.
To ensure public safety, the equipment has been fenced off and is closed to use until further notice.
The double swing set remains open and available for use.
Council is committed to providing safe and quality recreational facilities for the community.
Due to the age and condition of the equipment, a review will be undertaken to assess repair and replacement options.
Members of the public are encouraged to visit the nearby playground at Surf Club Drive while the closure remains in place.
