Bundaberg Regional Council advises that the Qunaba Waste Facility will be temporarily closed on Thursday 6 August for essential upgrade works.
The works have been planned in line with the facility’s normal Wednesday closures to minimise the inconvenience to the community.
The works will include:
- Wednesday 5 August and Thursday 6 August– Asphalt overlay works
- Wednesday 12 August – Line marking of the new asphalt surface
These works form part of ongoing improvements to the facility and will help maintain a safe, reliable and efficient service for residents.
The closest alternative waste facility during the closure is the Bundaberg Waste Facility at 46 University Drive.
Council thanks the community for its patience and understanding while these important upgrades are completed.
