
Toast the launch of the Taste Bundaberg Festival at an all-inclusive evening event featuring riverside drinks, roaming canapés and live music.
As the sun sets over the Burnett River, guests will be treated to a two-hour food and drink experience with a menu designed to showcase the best in fresh, seasonal ingredients from local producers.
Hosted by Bundaberg Regional Council and supported through the Safe Spaces Thriving Places initiative, the launch event will take place on Friday 4 September from 5.30 pm at River Cruz Café with live music from local singer-songwriter Abigail Williams.
Tickets are available through the Taste Bundaberg Festival program, which includes the full schedule of festival events celebrating the people, produce and places that make the region one of Australia’s premier food destinations.

Canapé menu:
- Round sourdough croutons with smashed avocado, smoked paprika prawns, tomato salsa, chilli oil and spring onions.
- Crispy sweet potato chips on a bed of grilled pastrami with a pineapple wedge, cranberry jam and parsley.
- Skewered chicken tikka pops with sweet and spicy makhni gravy, mint yoghurt and coriander.
- Deep fried zucchini fritters with tamarind sauce, freshly made chimichurri and capsicum fringe.
Drink selection:
- Beer, red wine, white wine, sparkling wine and soft drinks.
