Since opening a new chapter in the Bundaberg CBD seven years ago, the Book Boutique Bundaberg has become a beloved spot for locals.
More than just a book shop, the venue is also a coffee shop and art gallery, championing local authors, artists and artisans.
Owner Danielle Marks said she wanted to create a safe space where everyone was welcome to come in, relax and reset.
“The Book Boutique Bundaberg is a cute, whimsical bookshop that doubles as a community hub, where people can escape the craziness of life,” Danielle said.
“It can also be hired as a venue for hen’s nights, formals, birthdays, business spotlights and so much more.”
Danielle said the CBD was the perfect spot for all the boutique had to offer.
“We have wonderful poetry nights, author spotlights, art exhibitions and so much more,” she said.
“The CBD is a beautiful space with gorgeous buildings and some amazing boutiques run by fabulous locals.
“The treescape brings joy and I love the foot traffic being in the main street provides.”
She said being part of the local business community felt like family.
“Everyone is there to support you,” she said.
“Whether through good times or bad times, we have each other’s back.
“Nothing would make me happier than seeing more people return to the CBD to shop, so many local family businesses depend on it.
“Come down and experience the beauty and authenticity of the CBD.
“There are some beautiful gems to find.”
