Three popular Bundaberg Regional Council tourism attractions have received a perfect score in a state-wide tourism program.
Alexandra Park Zoo, Fairymead House Sugar Museum and Hinkler Hall of Aviation each scored 100 out of 100 in the Best of Queensland Experience Program which is run by Tourism and Events Queensland.
It highlights experiences that deliver outstanding visitor service year-round.
Mayor Helen Blackburn said the result was something the whole community could be proud of.
“These venues aren’t just tourism experiences, they are places where local stories are brought to life with passion and care,” Mayor Blackburn said.
“All three are proudly operated by Council and showcase what makes our region so special.”
Hinkler Hall of Aviation has been awarded the top score for the sixth year in a row and Fairymead House for the fourth.
Alexandra Park Zoo also received a perfect score for the third consecutive year.
Bundaberg Tourism CEO Katherine Reid commended the achievement.
“Congratulations to these incredible teams on achieving a flawless 100 out of 100 in the Best of Queensland Experience Program,” Ms Reid said.
“This outstanding result is a testament to your unwavering dedication to creating meaningful, memorable and world-class visitor experiences.

This year has been a great achievement for many local businesses, a credit to everyone’s dedication.”
The Best of Queensland Experience Program uses customer feedback, online reviews, social media performance and other criteria to identify top operators across the state.
