Bundaberg Regional Council will be commencing Road Rehabilitation and Widening along Wallaville Goondoon Road, Drinan.
Work is planned to commence 14 October 2025 and will be undertaken weekdays as daytime works.
Weather permitting, work will be completed by June 2026.
During construction the road will be subject to traffic management measures.
Appropriate signage will be in place to guide road users.
A detour will be in place via Berrembea and Highams Road as highlighted in blue on the map above.
The detour will be maintained continually throughout the project.
The Site Supervisor will liaise directly with affected residents to facilitate property access during construction.
Council is aware of the inconvenience construction work causes and thanks residents and road users in advance for their patience and co-operation.
