For today’s positive post we are celebrating the outpouring of support for the Anzac Park redevelopment.
The area on Quay Street opened to the public last week and the community had plenty to say about the new space.
Comments included:
“What a credit to Bundaberg!
“How lovely to have an updated space whilst holding respect to the veterans which can be used all year!”
“Great to see our town going forward…went for a walk around the new park yesterday, love the feel… will be great when fully completed.”
While there were many feel-good comments, some also had questions about the lack of shade and facilities.
But don’t worry, three shaded seating areas, an undercover barbecue area and a amenity block are on the way!

The works are supported through the State Government’s Works for Queensland initiative.

Call it Trump Park.
