Bundaberg Regional Council made big strides in 2025 to support local jobs, business and future growth. From launching a new 10‑year economic strategy to major career programs, small business support, tourism boosts and key industry partnerships - it was all focused on building a stronger region.

As the community comes together to celebrate Australia Day in Bargara, Bundaberg Regional Council’s Disaster Management team and local emergency services will be encouraging residents to take a few simple steps towards being disaster ready for the year ahead.
