Celebrity chef Colin Fassnidge will return to Bundaberg to sample more of what the region has to offer during the Taste Bundaberg Festival.

This month we share the stories of our Local Taste Bundaberg Festival Ambassadors, like Joey Caruana from The Garden Mill, and what makes them passionate about growing, producing and cooking in the Bundaberg Region.

Locals and visitors are encouraged to explore farm gate stalls and food businesses along the Taste Bundaberg Festival Taste Trail.

Local Taste Ambassadors Nat and Mark Albert from Childers Fine Foods love a good hot sauce and said the rich volcanic soil, water supply and beautiful sunshine were the perfect ingredients to create their Carolina Reaper chilli products.

Stallholders lined Crescent Street in Childers for the Childers Festival Twilight Markets, showcasing local food, produce, arts and fashion. View the gallery ⬇️

The sky was alight as Childers Festival kicked off on Thursday with the popular sugar mills and cane fire tours.
