It’s positivity post day! 🌟
Today we’re shining a light on some wonderful community feedback about the Forgotten Foods to Fabulous Feasts program – an initiative designed to boost health and wellbeing through budget-friendly meals.
Delivered through the Gin Gin and Childers Neighbourhood Centres, this program provides a variety of free support services including hands-on cooking classes, access to fresh local produce, monthly community barbecues and much more.
Across the Neighbourhood Centre Facebook pages there’s been plenty of positive commentary:
“Went today and it was delicious! We were expecting a sausage sizzle but we had salads, potato and zucchini bake, tea and coffee.”
“It was a delicious lunch and we used some of the zucchini, tom’s and onions to make a fabulous zucchini slice for dinner.”
“That is a wonderful service.”

The initiative is proudly funded by the Department of Families, Seniors, Disability Services and Child Safety via Neighbourhood Centres Queensland.
