The streets of Gin Gin were alive with fictional fun last week as local businesses supported Paint Gin Gin REaD as part of Book Week.
Children were invited to visit the displays and vote for their favourites with Gin Gin Kindy taking first place for the second year in a row.
Gin Gin Kindy worked hard on its display based on Mr Luke’s Magic Library Ocean Adventure by Luke Springer and Chris Kennett which included photos of the kindy children and their artwork.
The kindy will display their well-earned trophy until Book Week next year.
Other notable favourites were the Alice in Wonderland display set out as a tea party with the original artwork at the Gin Gin Courthouse Gallery as well as the Gin Gin Village Motor Inn’s Jurassic Park creation.
