The festive season is just around the corner and Bundaberg Regional Council is reminding residents of adjusted opening hours across its facilities during the Christmas and New Year period.
Although the doors will be closed, residents can continue to reach out online or by phone for urgent enquiries.
Council’s after-hours call centre will be operating as usual on 1300 883 699.
Opening hours across the festive season include:
Council customer service centres and depots
Closing 4.45 pm Wednesday 24 December 2025 and reopening 8.15 am Friday 2 January 2026.
Galleries
Closing Wednesday 24 December and reopening Friday 2 January 2026.
Moncrieff Entertainment Centre
Closed Wednesday 24 December from 1 pm , reopening on Friday 2 January at 9 am.
Waste facilities
All Council waste facilities will be closed on the public holidays except for Bundaberg Waste Facility which will be open from 7 am to 1 pm on Christmas Day and normal hours on all other public holidays. Collection will not be impacted but residents are reminded to place bins out the night before as collection will be early in the morning.
