Since opening its doors almost two months ago, new rent-a-rack clothing shop de:robe has made a fashionable entrance into the Bundaberg CBD.
Located on Tanitha Street, the shop allows locals to make money by selling their pre-loved clothes and shop sustainably by browsing the racks of items on offer.
Owner Narelle Crook said the shop was developed from a love of fashion and was a way to help locals clear the clutter and earn extra money.
āItās the first of its kind in Bundy,ā Narelle said.
āItās a win-win as customers get to sell clothes and make some money and it promotes sustainability.ā
Narelle said their CBD location was important to the business thanks to visibility, foot traffic and a central location for accessibility.
āWe want to contribute to building the CBD back to its former glory,ā she said.
āEveryone has been so supportive and itās wonderful seeing familiar faces.
āCome [to the CBD], see whatās new and support local business!ā
