Since opening its doors almost two months ago, new rent-a-rack clothing shop de:robe has made a fashionable entrance into the Bundaberg CBD.

Located on Tanitha Street, the shop allows locals to make money by selling their pre-loved clothes and shop sustainably by browsing the racks of items on offer.

Owner Narelle Crook said the shop was developed from a love of fashion and was a way to help locals clear the clutter and earn extra money.

ā€œIt’s the first of its kind in Bundy,ā€ Narelle said.

ā€œIt’s a win-win as customers get to sell clothes and make some money and it promotes sustainability.ā€

Narelle said their CBD location was important to the business thanks to visibility, foot traffic and a central location for accessibility.

ā€œWe want to contribute to building the CBD back to its former glory,ā€ she said.

ā€œEveryone has been so supportive and it’s wonderful seeing familiar faces.

ā€œCome [to the CBD], see what’s new and support local business!ā€
