Event holders across the Bundaberg Region are invited to take a seat at the table and be part of Taste Bundaberg Festival, with expressions of interest now open for the 2026 program.
From 4 – 13 September, Taste Bundaberg Festival will feature ten tasty days celebrating local produce, passionate growers and unforgettable food experiences showcasing the best the Bundaberg Region has to offer.
Bundaberg Regional Council is calling for expressions of interest from businesses and organisations keen to host events as part of the festival, as well as venues interested in joining the ever-popular Taste Trail and Dessert Trail.
The Taste Trail and Dessert Trail invite local cafes, restaurants and food businesses to dish up a signature bite, drink or sweet treat during the festival period, encouraging locals and visitors to explore new flavours and hidden gems across the region.
Event hosts are also encouraged to submit an expression of interest to deliver ticketed or free events that align with the festival’s focus on local food, drink and unique experiences.
From long lunches and workshops to pop ups and paddock to plate experiences, there is plenty of room at the table.
Last year’s festival featured a mouth-watering mix of events, from intimate dining experiences to large scale community celebrations, with strong support from the local community and visitors alike.
Taste Bundaberg Festival offers event holders a chance to reach new audiences, collaborate with fellow food lovers and be part of a region wide celebration that puts the Bundaberg Region firmly on the menu.
Expressions of interest close on 29 May 2026.
