Having first existed as part of the Sugar Harvest Festival, Bundy in Bloom was officially launched in 1995 as a community springtime celebration.
The annual street parade brought together participants from businesses, clubs, educational organisations and church groups, with float prizes awarded and a festival queen and princesses crowned each year.
The parade followed a variety of routes and destinations over its lifetime, including marches along Bourbong and Quay streets and over the bridge to Lions Park.
