Gin Gin Neighbourhood Centre will celebrate Welcoming Week with a free community morning tea tomorrow, showing that ‘belonging starts here’.
The event will take place from 9.30 to 11.30 am and include entertainment from different cultures within the Gin Gin Community.
Bundaberg Regional Council recently signed a Welcoming Cities Commitment, making the region part of a national network to foster community inclusion, engagement and participation.
Welcoming Week takes place from 12 to 21 September and aims to bring organisations and communities together to build strong connections and affirm the importance of building welcoming communities.
