Bargara Park on Birchdale Drive is closed to public access until further notice due to the presence of sink holes.

Bundaberg Regional Council is urging the community to steer clear of the area and has erected barriers to prevent entry in the interest of safety.

This latest development has prompted Council to isolate the entire park until further investigations can be conducted.

The area will not be mown until Council receives confirmation that the park can be safely accessed.

A temporary closure notice has been published to Council’s public notices page and the notice will be updated when more information is known.
