How to: 3D print at the Bundaberg Regional Libraries

Bundaberg Regional Libraries has four Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) 3D printers available for members of the public to use.

Bundaberg Regional Libraries has four Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) 3D printers available for use.

These machines can print various filament types and have different build capacities, the largest which measures 300mm x 250mm x 200mm.

How to print?

  • Submit a 3D model file (STL or OBJ) to a Bundaberg Regional Libraries branch for verification and suitability assessment.
  • One of our staff members will access the print job and give you a price within five business days.
  • If the cost is accepted, payment is due and must be received prior to the commencement of printing.
  • The object will be ready for collection after five business days (subject to printer and staff availability.

You will receive your print ‘as is’ from the printer, which may mean you will need to remove some support material and clean up small imperfections.
