Offering an eclectic range of products and calming wellness spaces, Natures Emporium has long served as a shopping sanctuary in the Bundaberg CBD.
For 43 years, this proudly family-owned and operated business has grown to become one of the largest gift and wellness stores in the Wide Bay, with a carefully curated range of products including over 30 handmade pieces by local artisans.
Owners Chris and Tina Dimes said their motivation remained to create a peaceful and relaxing space for people to slow down and enjoy browsing.
“We pride ourselves on our genuine old school customer service,” they said.
“Our team is warm and inviting and take the time with our customers to ensure they have a wonderful experience.
“If there is something we don’t sell, we actively encourage and recommend visiting one of the many other amazing small businesses in our community.
“We provide an instore notice board for the broader community to display their business cards or flyers so that locals and visitors can find products, services and events that may be of interest all year round.”
The business owners said Bourbong Street was the perfect position for their store, allowing visitors to browse, relax and enjoy the space and even attend weekly yoga sessions.

“Walk by foot traffic is essential and having our shopfront on the main street ensures great exposure to visitors and locals alike,” they said.
“We love that we are not enclosed in a major shopping centre or part of the mega store environment.
“Our main street offers a variety of specialty stores to showcase something a little different to the big chain stores and we love that.”
Chris and Tina said they would continue to champion the CBD and loved to see friendly and familiar faces there every day.
“Whether it is going to grab a coffee at our favourite café, stopping in to say hello to our fellow business owners or directing customers to one of the many other businesses in our region, we have a great cross-section of family-owned and operated businesses offering a diverse range of products and services, which is great,” they said.
“The CBD is our home, it has provided us with the perfect location to build a very successful business and we would not have our store anywhere else.”
We’re placing a spotlight on businesses in the Bundaberg CBD and celebrating all there is to love about our city centre as part of the Safe Spaces, Thriving Places campaign.
