How to: access landholder assistance for pest control and animal management

If you are a landholder needing assistance to manage pest plants or animals, Council’s Biosecurity Officers are available to discuss management options and provide access to a range of equipment and resources.

Landholders can access the services and equipment listed below by contacting Council on 1300 883 699 and requesting to speak with a Biosecurity Officer.

Free equipment and assistance for hire includes:

  1. Wick wipers
  2. Indian Myna traps
  3. Portable pig traps
  4. Property inspections and advice on pest management strategies for both invasive plants and animals
  5. Plant Swap Program
  6. Noxious plant inspections
  7. Fox cage trap
  8. Biocontrol

Additional equipment for hire (fees apply):

  1. Spray units
  2. Boomless spray attachments
  3. Splatter guns
