Social media workshops to support community connection

Local community groups, clubs and not‑for‑profit organisations are invited to participate in a social media workshop designed to support their online presence.

Bundaberg Regional Council is inviting local community groups, clubs and not‑for‑profit organisations to take part in a practical social media workshop to help strengthen their online presence and improve how they connect with the community.

The workshop will cover simple, effective ways to use Facebook and Instagram including planning content, understanding insights and using practical tools that can be applied immediately.

Participants will learn how to create engaging posts, build consistency and make small improvements that support stronger reach and participation.

The session will also show groups how to reach more locals, promote their activities and better support the work they do in the Bundaberg Region.

The workshop is designed to help organisations build confidence online and share their stories in ways that encourage community involvement.

This forms part of Council’s commitment to supporting local organisations and strengthening community engagement across the region.
