Snake
Visit Council’s website for more information about what to do if you encounter a snake.

The community is encouraged to be aware of snakes in urban, rural and natural areas.

Snakes are a native animal that are natural to encounter in the Bundaberg Region, particularly in summer months when they become more active.

Council has received reports of sightings in bushland reserves and natural areas, however not all sightings require investigation.

Further information regarding snakes can be found on Council’s webpage.
